“I like how my duties changed every day. I wasn’t stuck with one task for the summer. I wanted to experience a little bit of a lot of different things, which is what I got.”
– Joey Albert, Project EngineerWe believe the first step in building the communities in which we serve, is focusing on the development of our young employees. Lydig’s internship program is mentorship based. That means you’ll have the opportunity to work side-by-side with industry veterans on our state’s most complicated construction projects. You’ll collaborate with field and office staff to help identify solutions to construction challenges that are best for the project, client and the company. Most importantly, you’ll identify your professional strengths, and your weaknesses, while learning how to improve both for wherever you’d like your career to go. Come join us. Email hr@lydig.com to find out how to apply.
Lydig Construction is proud to be a partner of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program, designed to help transitioning service members lay the groundwork for a successful civilian career. DoD SkillBridge gives participants the chance to explore their career path with Lydig while receiving specialized training and guided mentorship, through an internship during their last 60-90 days of service.
Lydig currently offers DoD SkillBridge internships in Construction Management. To learn how to apply for an upcoming internship, please visit SkillBridge at https://dodskillbridge.usalearning.gov/how-to-apply.htm.
